leftpunctuation-marks-quotation-marksWhen I had my twins, I had a busy 2 year old and was having many breastfeeding issues and had no idea how I was going to get through these days while I was alone. I started talking to people online and many suggested Maria, so I quickly messaged her and soon spoke with this lovely lady packed full of useful information that sounded like it was going to make my life easier. Everything she said made sense, it was like she was looking into a mirror into my life. How could this person know EVERYTHING that’s happening to me right now? It’s called experience!

She told me she knew of a woman that may be able to help me. This woman’s name was Denise. So I talked to Denise and she and Maria came over to my house and within an hour I had learned more info about breastfeeding my twins than any nurse at the hospital was able to teach me. I was so excited! These women seriously cared about me as a person and I was a total stranger to them, but it didn’t matter. I was a Mom that needed help and they were there to help me.

Denise started coming almost weekly and trust me, I couldn’t wait for her to arrive! Always filling my water bottle, making lunch, telling me what a good job I was doing and just making me feel like a good Mom. She helped in any aspect that needed an extra hand, whether it was holding a baby while I bathed/fed the other, or coming on excursions and helping in any way needed. She taught me breastfeeding holds that you will never see online that got one of my twins nursing better.

She is also amazing with my 2 year old, we are having issues with his behavior since bringing home our twins and her ECE knowledge was an awesome bonus!! So I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for all of her help when I needed it the most, she’s a beautiful woman that truly cares about your well being in all aspects in life. I’d like to say that I’m now exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old twins with all of Maria and Denise’s help!! Thank you so much.

Denise provided postpartum services to my family and the care she gave was invaluable to adjusting to life with a fourth child. She was great with my older children and engaged them in many different activities. She is a lovely and caring person and made great company in the early postpartum weeks. It was nice having an extra pair of hands while my husband was at work.

Maria was my doula for the attempted VBAC I had with my 2nd child. She was the extra set of hands to help me and my hubby, and was there to support us in the NICU after things went sideways. She was the comfort and calm right before I needed to be wheeled to the OR and was right there in recovery after surgery. I would recommend her to anyone.

Thank you Denise for all your help this summer with finding daycare for Will. He is at a licensed home daycare close to our home. Things are going really well! He is growing and he always seems so happy to be there.

This week I called Maria in to assist a client who had some breastfeeding challenges. Maria was able to assess the situation fairly quickly, make some incredibly helpful recommendations while presenting everything in a clear and understandable manner. She helped my client feel much more confident. If you’ve run into trouble breastfeeding, call Maria!

I always feel confident when Denise is caring for my children. I know that they are well taken care of and well loved. There are very few people outside of my family that I will leave my children with, as they are very attached to me, but Denise is one of them.

Maria is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Exactly what a birthing mother needs.
